View packageIstanbul is a city of layers — Roman aqueducts beneath Ottoman mosques beneath Republic-era boulevards, all pulsing over two continents connected by the Bosphorus. It's Turkey's easiest introduction for Arab travellers: 2-hour direct flights from Amman, a food scene built on grilled meats and baklava, and neighbourhoods that range from Sultanahmet's tourist heart to Kadıköy's hipster Asian side. Four days is the sweet spot for first-timers; seven if you want to venture across to the Asian side or down to the Princes' Islands.

View package1,500 years in one building — Byzantine cathedral, Ottoman mosque, museum, and now a working mosque again. The dome is still an engineering marvel.
Six minarets, 20,000 İznik tiles in blue and white, and cascading half-domes. Across the square from Hagia Sophia.
Ottoman sultans' residence for 400 years. Holy Relics chamber, Harem quarters, and gardens overlooking the Bosphorus.
Europe on your left, Asia on your right, Ottoman palaces and fortresses on both sides. Sunset departures are magic.
4,000 shops under lantern-lit arcades — carpets, gold, ceramics, and a Spice Bazaar that smells like the Silk Road.
The modern city — pedestrian Istiklal Street, the historic Galata Tower, nightlife, street musicians, and the best simit in town.
Istanbul works year-round, but April–June and September–November give you the perfect weather for walking everywhere. April – June: Tulip Festival, mild days, blue Bosphorus. Best overall. July – August: Hot (32°C) and crowded. School-holiday family favourite. September – November: Autumn on the Bosphorus — our favourite season. December – March: Low-season rates, romantic snow mornings, empty museums.
